Daniel Le Moeligou
Daniel brings 28 years of experience in financial services, built across two continents and some of the region's most demanding markets. His career began in banking in the Channel Islands before relocating to the UAE in 2008, where he entered the mortgage advisory sector.
He subsequently joined Zurich International Life, where he served as a distribution sales manager and played a key role in establishing and growing the company's Abu Dhabi presence from 2010. In 2014, Daniel became a Director at Homematters Mortgages, one of the UAE's established mortgage brokerages, where he combined advisory work with leadership responsibilities.
In 2017, he co-founded HomeMates — a mortgage aggregation business modelled on the UK network distribution model — which he built and scaled alongside his local partner before its acquisition by Huspy in 2021.
Following the acquisition, Daniel led Huspy's direct sales operation, scaling the team from 30 to over 120 mortgage consultants. During this period he designed and implemented the sales infrastructure, performance management frameworks, training programmes, and incentive structures that underpinned the business's growth.
In 2025, Daniel left to co-found Oakstone — returning to his conviction that the highest-quality advisory work is done at the boutique level, where relationships and expertise take precedence over volume.
